Transfers Again and I am going to?......

STAY....AGAIN....with the same companion. Craziness huh!
Now I know I will officially stay here for my birthday!!!! TWO WEEKS!!!!!!!
This is officially the longest time now that I have spent with 1 companion.
This is my third transfer in this area. So I guess the Lord got sick of changing my companions and told me to stay with this one a while. I was seriously expecting some sort of change. Two companions usually don't last over 2 transfers together, especially considering that he only has one transfer less than I do, and I'm senior.
I DON'T LIKE NOT HAVING MONEY!!!!! It's not cool.
This week was pretty good for us. We taught quite a bit, had good attendence in church, and yeah...things are all good.

I guess I'll talk about some of the investigators we are teaching right now. First, we're teaching this guy named Victor and he is the brother of a super active member. It's going really well, except for the fact he is super prideful and he has read a ton of anti-mormon material, and he expects us to answer every single one of his questions about the anti-mormon stuff he has read! Ugh...really frustrating...so yeah, we've had to chew him out a bit on searching for this stuff, and now he has stopped reading anti-mormon liturature, reading exclusively what we tell him to read, and praying with more faith.

Luis is a 18 year old kid we contacted this week. He is really nice and he came to church this week. It does seem like he will be the type of member that will be a little too close to the missionaries...but yeah, its all good, for now...

All of the members thought that one or both of us to leave the area, so on sunday, we some members threw some good-bye parties for us. Some girls from one of the wards made us some hand towels with our names stitched into it and bookmarks with the same thing, and made us brownies(they were burnt though...brownies really aren't a mexican treat...). Our converts invited us over for pizza. We might have to discuss the Sabbath day again with them though....

I have been thinking quite a bit about stuff I will do when I get back. I think I want to learn how to ride a motorcycle and get one when I get back to Texas. My reasoning is this(with help from my companion who rides motorcycles):
I can get a decent motorcycle for 1500 bucks (2000 with equipment and everything)
It doesn't rain much in Texas, so not a ton of danger
Riding a motorcycle is pretty cheap (50 miles to the gallon)
I won't be travelling much out of Cedar Park anyways, so it will be more efficient
It's awesome for dates ;)

I have also been thinking as far as what I will do when I get back. I'm starting to lean towards something in the medical field, something like what mom does, because I'm figuring, I'll do the same amount of schooling, and right off the bat I'll be making a good amount of money, and that salary will keep on going up the more experience I get. I'm thinking my knowledge of Spanish will also help me a lot in that regard.

So, those are the thoughts of Kevin for this week,
I love you all

Ahhhhh, my life is pretty much complete......

Hey family!!!!!
Well, after an AWESOME WEEK, and CONFERENCE, I can pretty much say, my life is AWESOME!!!!
Oh, and THE FAMILY GOT BAPTIZED!!!!!!!! ALL 5 OF THEM!!!!!!!
Oh my gosh I felt so happy!!!!!!! 3 of them asked me to baptize them(all the girls.....). It was such an honor. I don't have my camera with me, I'll send the pics next week.
And the person that I baptized the week before bore her testimony, and she cried. I just can't believe the Lord has blessed me so much! I mean seriously, what did I do to deserve so many blessings? I just know the Lord sent me here with this purpose. I am sooooo glad.
Alex and I prepared 2 special numbers for this baptism. And they were amazing, as normal...:P
So yeah, and these people that have been baptized recently are giving us more references, so yeah, we still got stuff to do.
But yeah, and the mission prez wrote me saying how great of a missionary I am, a little ego boost there too....
So....yup, life's pretty much awesome, continuing going along, working....
Oh, and daylight savings, I am NOT A FAN!!!!!! I have had 2 bad night's sleep in a ROW because of that stupid change in clock. Dang Franklin.......
But yeah, I thank God that I have been sent here at this time, because he knew I was needed here. That's what my patriarchal blessing says. Right now in Escarcega I have 12 baptisms.
And the branch is sooo happy with our efforts here. They said that an entire family being baptized has not happened here since they can remember. But yeah, a complete family being baptized. It is the missionary's dream. I love them sooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!! But yeah, I really can't find the words to say.
Oh, and all the talks in conference about kids did make me kinda want to get married.....haha, no I still got a lot of time before that happens.
But yeah, in the mission you really grow to appreciate the gospel and what it does, and more importantly what it helps us avoid. I see that every day here in Mexico. YOu have no idea how many lives and marriages that have been destroyed for alchohol, sex in the wrong circumstances, or just not living faithful to the gospel. We really do live better lives.
As one of the talks in general conference said, you can be active in the church and inactive in the gospel, and we really need to be active in both.
Well, I have a little more time so keep writing me!!!!
Love you all!!!!
